SpikeSource Launches Solutions Factory Platform

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- Software company SpikeSource has announced the launch of its new platform for independent software developers.

Called the SpikeSource Solutions Factory, the new system is what the company calls "the first fully automated platform for assembling, testing, packaging, certifying, and updating open source, proprietary and hybrid software solutions."

Concurrently, the company also announced the closing of a new financing round, including a $10 million investment from Intel Capital and other existing investors.
