Fidelis Security Pulls In $5 Million Series B Funding

BETHESDA, MD -- Online security company Fidelis Security Solutions has closed its series B venture capital round at $22 million with a $5 million add-on.

Fidelis sells its DataSafe solution as the "first Extrusion Prevention Solution and the only network security solution that prevents the unauthorized network transfer of critical or sensitive information on gigabit speed networks."

Tudor Ventures and Point Judith Capital Partners invested the additional $5 million.  The company did not disclose how the funding proceeds would be used.
