AGI Dermatics Raises $5 Million Venture Capital Funding

FREEPORT, NY -- Biotechnology company AGI Dermatics has announced another round of funding, receiving $5 million from two investors.

AGI is researching skin photobiology - the study of the sun's effects on skin.  The company is hoping to create technologies to assist the human body in repairing DNA and immune system degradation.

Trevi Health Ventures and Spring Mountain Capital co-led the round.  Funding will be used to continue the growth efforts of the company's Remergent line of skincare products.
