SAN FRANCISCO & LOS GATOS, CA -- Solar design firm Akeena Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: AKNS) has teamed up with Sun Run to provide homeowners with innovative solar power.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sun Run will integrate its solar service package that offers homeowners maintenance, monitoring and guaranteed performance for the life of the agreement.

Sun Run will provide Akeena's Andalay solar power system which combined with Sun Run's service will enable homeowners to have solar power that is locked into a fixed rate.
