GreenFuel Technologies Fuels Up With $14 Million

CAMBRIDGE, MA -- Alternative energy company GreenFuel Technologies announced an addition of $13.9 million to its series B round of financing.

GreenFuel makes algae bioreactor systems that convert flue gases from algae into clean and renewable biofuels.

Investors in the round included Polaris Venture Partners and Draper Fisher Jurvetson.  The company used the funds to retire debt and implement a new algae farming project.
