CA -- Mobile multimedia company PixSense announced the launch of their
location tagging feature platform for mobile operators.
Called Media Map, the system automatically captures the
geographic location and time that photos or video were taken by the
subscriber's cell phone. The data is
then automatically integrated with an online map.
The company achieves this through its patent pending compression
technology that can reduce the media data size by up to 90% before transfer.
