MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- Software company Flock announced that it has received $15
million in its series D round of venture capital funding.
Flock is a consumer Internet company, which has developed what
it calls a next generation web browser that enables users to utilize Web 2.0

Fidelity Ventures led the round, which included Bessemer Venture
Partners, Catamount Ventures and Shasta Ventures. The company said it would use the funding
proceeds to expand research and development and marketing into new global
markets.
