Chapel Hill, North Carolina -- Ruby on Rails software development company Relevance, Inc. announced today the launch of its Rails Security Audit system.

The company calls its service an industry first that focuses on helping enterprise companies identify security vulnerabilities in Rails applications.  The system is comprised of five phases: source code audit, XSS audit, SQL injection audit, fuzzing audit and deployment stacked audit.

According to the company, the audit is usually completed in one week and pricing is based on the size of the project and the amount of technical debt.

Concurrently with the launch of the new service, relevance released its Tarantula tool to the open-source community to assist in crawling rails applications to identify data breaks.
