PharmaCentra Launches Patient Compliance Program

ATLANTA, GA -- Healthcare services provider
PharmaCentra
announced the launch of its new patient compliance program that encourages patients to follow through with prescribed treatments.
Called WellTouch First Fill, patients receive trackable debit cards or vouchers that offer discounts for compliance. The cards also provide information to pharmaceutical companies and physicians with compliance information about the patient's purchases.
The company says early studies show that 80% of patients enrolled in the program filled their first prescription versus the industry average of 50%.
