Rackspace Launches Mosso Cloud Hosting Service

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- Hosting provider Rackspace has announced the launch of its cloud file storage hosting service.

Launched by its Mosso division, the service is called CloudFS and joins its flagship service, the Hosting Cloud.  The system provides website operators with the ability to store virtually an unlimited amount of data.

Once it has exited beta testing, the service is available as part of the company's complete service offering or as a stand-alone service.  Current pricing plans are targeting to start at $.15 per gigabyte.
