MovieSet Sees $2 Million Series A Financing

Vancouver, British Columbia --  Internet entertainment company MovieSet has received $2 million in its first round of institutional venture capital financing, according to a report in PE Hub.

Movie set is developing a next-generation platform that brings filmmaking tools online.  The site gives fans access through its toolkit for producers.

Rho Ventures made the investment.  The company did not disclose how it would use the proceeds from the funding round.
