Aurora Networks Launches SMART Media Converters

Santa Clara, California --  Cable networking company Aurora Networks announced the introduction of its enhanced SMART Media Converter Solution for cable operators.

Enhanced modules allow operators to deliver Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet services over fiber, using any of 15 CWDM wavelengths.  

This will provide a roughly 50% increase in capacity and will enable cable operators to continue to satisfy the growth in bandwidth demand.
