Greener World Media Nets $1 Million Series A

Oakland, California -- Internet media company Greener World Media announced that it has raised $1 million in its first round of venture capital funding.

The company has developed a network of websites and newsletters aimed at helping companies align their business operations with environmental responsibility.

The K Group made the investment.  The company said the round would help it to build on its position in green business media, as well as develop new online products and marketing initiatives.
