Boston, Massachusetts --  Online portal Boston.com announced the launch of its Do Good channel, an online space for people to become connected to their choice of public service causes or community organizations throughout the Boston region.

The section of the site organizes information that is submitted by participating nonprofits and allows users to search its database to find organizations that match their needs and objectives.

Boston.com reports that the new channel has grown to 670 participating organizations.  Groups can participate for free and can also sell small sponsorships on their sites from within the Do Good channel.
