Appian Labs Provides Drug Design Solutions

Austin, Texas -- Biopharmaceutical company Appian Labs announced its launch as a company that provides strategic and comprehensive drug delivery and design solutions for pharmaceutical companies.

The company said it provides innovative solutions for drug delivery problems, such as poor bioavailability, toxicity, dose timing and others.

Appian is led by Nicholas Peppas, Sc.D, who the company says has published more than 1,000 peer-reviewed articles and 33 books covering drug delivery, hydrogels and related control release technologies.  The company is funded by venture firm Emergent Technologies.
