Intridea Launches Ruby Social Networking Site

Portland, Oregon -- Web 2.0 company Intridea announced the launch of what it calls the first social network custom tailored for the Ruby on Rails programming language user community.

Called the Acts As Community (AAC), the site provides a Rails developers and users with the ability to connect with other developers, find and post Rails related jobs and create a homepage for open source projects.

Intridea develops Web 2.0 applications and services based on the Ruby on Rails web application framework for agile development.  The company is launching the community as a way to "give back."
