Bazaarvoice Garners $7 Million Series C

AUSTIN, TX -- IT provider Bazaarvoice has raised $7.1 million in its third round of venture capital financing, according to a report in PE Hub.

Bazaarvoice develops and sells outsourced analytics and other services to help enterprises improve their word of mouth marketing efforts.

Investors in the round were Austin Ventures, Battery Ventures and First Round Capital.  The company did not disclose how the proceeds would be used.
