Yandex Facility Comes To Silicon Valley

PALO ALTO, CA --  Russian search engine leader Yandex announced that it is opening a U.S.-based technology and business development facility.

The new group, called Yandex Labs, will be located in Palo Alto and Vishal Makhijani, the former SVP and General Manaher of Yahoo!'s Search Group, will lead the organization.

The company intends to use the facility to hire leading search technologists to extend and improve its core technology capabilities, source U.S.-based business development executives.
