Jaxtr Opens Mobile Phone Network Calling

MENLO PARK, CA -- VoIP phone company Jaxtr announced that it has opened its network to allow members to call anyone from their mobile phone.

Currently, the company offers its users the ability to make free in-network calls anywhere.  The new service will enable users to call anyone without using calling cards or downloading special software to their phone.

Jaxtr also announced the completion of a second round of financing, raising $10 million in new capital led by new investor Lehman Brothers Venture Partners.
