Jitterbug Snags $38 Million Series C Funding

DEL MAR, CA -- Jitterbug by Greatcall has announced that it has secured $38 million in its third round of venture capital financing.

Jitterbug sells a simple cell phone designed for baby boomers and their aging parents to use in case of emergency or other limited use.

Court Square Ventures led the round, which included Steelpoint Capital Partners, Charles River Ventures and Nauta Capital.

The company said it would use the funding proceeds to continue to build out sales channels and develop more services and devices.
