LiveU Raises Second Financing Of $9 Million

Fair Lawn, New Jersey -- Digital media company LiveU has secured its series B round of venture capital funding, receiving $9 million in new investment.

LiveU designs and develops in real time video uplink solution which provides instant setup time and connects any video camera to its broadcast system in seconds.

Canaan Partners led the round, which included Carmel Ventures as an additional investor.  The company said it would rapidly expand its marketing sales and customer service departments worldwide and continue to develop more advanced versions of its product.
