Emeryville, California -- Internet company Lithium Technologies said that it has raised $12 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.
Lithium provides online applications that power large customer communities on the Internet. It offers an integrated suite of enterprise social media products that include blogs, forums and social networking.
Benchmark Capital led the round, which included other undisclosed investors. The company said that proceeds would be used to expand its sales and marketing efforts and accelerate its social media technology development cycle. |
