San Francisco, California -- Social networking company hi5 Networks announced the acquisition of PixVerse, a developer of applications for the hi5 Networks platform.
PixVerse developed the popular in interactive Pix Chat and Pix Wall applications, which run on the hi5 platform and other social networking services through integration APIs.
PixVerse was founded in 2007 and backed by venture capital firm Venrock. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
