YouSendIt Gets $14 Million In New Venture Capital

Campbell, California -- Software company YouSendIt announced that it has raised its third venture capital funding round, receiving $14 million from a syndicate of venture capital firms.

The company provides technology that allows users to e-mail large digital files. YouSendIt says it "has over 3 million registered users across 220 countries and over 13,000 paid users."

Investors in the round were Emergence Capital Partners, Sigma Partners, Alloy Ventures and Sevin Rosen Funds. The company said it would use the funding to expand its customer base and develop new technologies.
