Sojern Lands $16 Million Series A Round

Omaha, Nebraska --  Internet company Sojern has raised its first round of venture capital financing, pulling in $16 million.

Sojern has developed technologies that assist the airline and advertising industries to enhance consumer travel experiences by providing destination specific information and offers via travelers' boarding passes.

Norwest Venture Partners and Trident Capital are the company's venture investors.  Proceeds purposes from the financing were not disclosed.
