Vertos Medical Closes $12 Million Venture Funding

San Jose, California -- Medical device company Vertos Medical said that it has raised $12 million in its series C round of venture capital funding.

Vertos has developed percutaneous interventional medical devices for the treatment of common spinal diseases, such as lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS).

CHL Medical Partners and Foundation Medical Partners co-led the round, which included Aweida Venture Partners and DFJ Mercury Venture Partners. 

The company said the funding proceeds would be used to expand its product portfolio and support the launch of its MILD devices.
