Appirio Closes Series B Venture Capital Round

Appirio
announced that it has raised $5.6 million in its second round of institutional venture capital funding.
Appirio provides software services that help enterprises adopt on-demand solutions such as Salesforce.com and Google Enterprise via the company's suite of applications.
Sequoia Capital led the round, which included other undisclosed investors. The company said it would use the funding to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
