ChipX Lands Series B Funding Of $4 Million

Santa Clara, California --  Semiconductor design company ChipX has raised $4 million in its second round of institutional funding, according to a report in PE Hub.

The company develops and designs analog and mixed signal SoC/ASIC chip sets since the company's founding in 1989.

Elron Electronic Industries, Needham Capital Partners, NewLight Associates, Parker Price Venture Capital, UMC Capital and VantagePoint Venture Partners invested the round.  Proceeds purposes from the funding were not disclosed.
