Sensys Networks Nets $5 Million Venture Funding

Berkeley, California --  Networking company Sensys Networks said that it has raised $5 million in expansion capital from a syndicate of venture capital firms.

Sensys provides solutions for ultra-low-power wireless sensor networking via its family of VDS240 vehicle detection products.

Voyager Capital led the round, which included Velocity Interactive and Horizon Ventures.  The company said the funds would be used for expanding its global sales, marketing and customer support presence.
