Searchandise Commerce Clears Series C Funding

New York, New York -- Internet company Searchandise Commerce announced that it has secured $7.5 million from a syndicate of venture capital firms.

Searchandise, formerly known as Guidester, says that it provides Internet decision-making systems for manufacturers and retailers and connects buyers and sellers at the point of purchase.

Cloquet Capital Partners led the round, which included DFJ Gotham, Wheatley Partners, Milestone Venture Partners and Inflection Point Ventures.  The company said it would use the funds to expand its sales marketing and general growth initiatives.
