Iris Biotechnologies Receives Tech Innovation Award

Palo Alto, California --  Bioinformatics company Iris Biotechnologies has received an award for technology innovation from analyst firm Frost & Sullivan.

Cited for its efforts to develop an integrated technology platform, called the Nano-Biochip gene expression diagnostic system, the company is focused on improving the prognosis of breast cancer patients.

Iris has also developed an artificial intelligence bioinformatics platform, which it calls BioWindows.  The platform receives the data from the Nano-Biochip diagnostics system, reads the optical pattern and compares it to historical clinical reference information contained in the database.
