iWatt Garners Fifth Venture Capital Financing

Los Gatos, California --  Semiconductor company iWatt announced that it has raised $12.4 million in its series E round of venture capital financing.

The company designs, develops and markets semiconductors using its patented digital control technology to improve computer power system management and reduce energy consumption.

Investors in the round included VantagePoint Venture Partners, Sigma Partners and Horizon Ventures.  The company said it would use the funding to enhance its working capital and invest in its sales and marketing efforts.
