Marketo Reels In Venture Capital Financing

San Mateo, California --  Software company Marketo said that it has secured $8 million in a series B funding round.

Marketo sells what it calls an "affordable, easy to use marketing automation software that helps B2B marketing professionals drive more revenue and improve marketing accountability."

The investor group was led by Storm Ventures and also included InterWest Partners.  The company said that the proceeds will allow it to expand its sales and marketing efforts in North America and internationally.
