Media6Degrees Heats Up With $9 Million Series A

New York, New York --  Digital media company Media6Degrees has secured $9 million in its first institutional venture capital funding, according to a company press release.

Media6Degrees uses social graph data to provide major brand marketers with highly targeted audiences and user segments.

U.S. Venture Partners led the round, which also included Contour Venture Partners.  The company did not disclose how it would use the investment proceeds.  Two partners from U.S.  Venture Partners will join the company board of directors.
