Innography Sees First Venture Capital Funding

Austin, Texas --  Software company Innography announced the closing of its series A round of venture funding, receiving $6.5 million in new investment.

Innography has developed an intellectual-property business intelligence platform as an on-demand system.  The application helps enterprises manage their intellectual property assets.

Austin Ventures led the round, which included Hunt Ventures as well.  The company will use the funding proceeds to "accelerate [their] global presence for emerging intellectual-property business intelligence software."
