ZocDoc Starts Up With Series A Venture Capital

New York, New York --  Internet company ZocDoc said that it has secured its first round of institutional venture capital, raising $3 million in new investment.

ZocDoc is creating a system that helps users find doctors and dentists based on patient reviews and ratings.

Khosla Ventures led the investment round.  The company said it would use the funding to "expand its network of practitioners and laid the groundwork for a nationwide rollout."
