Clear Clears New Venture Capital Financing

Palm Coast, Florida --  Security company Clear announced that it has raised $44.4 million in a new round of expansion financing.

The company has developed an airport security fast pass that allows pre-screened and validated airline travelers to access designated airport security fast lanes.

Spark Capital led the round, which included Syncom Management Company, Baker Capital and Lehman Brothers Venture Partners.  The company said it would use the funding to increase its membership growth and expand its fast lanes across the United States.
