New York, New York -- Internet company Crowd Fusion said that it has closed its first round of venture capital financing, receiving $3 million from VCs and individual investors.
Crowd Fusion operates in the online publishing space and has created a new platform for building vertical destination sites.
Velocity Interactive Group led the round, which included Greycroft Partners and noted individual investor Mark Andreessen.
