HandyLab Pulls In Fourth Venture Capital Funding

Ann Arbor, Michigan --  Medical device company HandyLab has raised $19.2 million in its series D venture capital round, according to a report in PE Hub.

HandyLab develops and manufactures clinical diagnostic testing products using automated and semiautomated microfluidic, high sensitivity instruments.

Investors in the round included Dow Venture Capital, Lurie Investments, EDF Ventures, Ardesta, Arboretum Ventures and Pfizer Strategic Investments Group.  The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
