Purewire Nets $2 Million In New Venture Equity

Atlanta, Georgia --  Internet company Purewire has announced the close of $2 million in new venture capital financing.

Purewire is an online security firm that offers a web-based security-as-a-service for enterprises and online social interactions.

Imlay Investments was the lead investor in the round.  The company said that the funds would be used to expand its data center presence, increase its development activities and add to its sales and marketing efforts.
