New York, New York --  Media company Wired.com announced the launch of a new social networking site aimed at small businesses.

The site, called Wired Biz, intends to immerse users in a Web 2.0 platform that encourages collaborative problem solving through "crowdsourcing".

Wired has partnered with Brother International Corp. and American Express Open to create the site.  Users will also be able to participate in a contest called The Small Business Program, that allows them to determine the most world changing small businesses submitted by the community.
