Big Fish Games Lands Expansion Funding

Seattle, Washington --  Online game publisher Big Fish Games has raised $83.3 million in a large expansion round of venture capital financing.

Big Fish says that its portal distributes more games worldwide than any other online site. The company also has a studio that develops and publishes its own games.

The company received funding from Balderton Capital, General Catalyst Partners and Salmon River Capital. The company said it intends to use the new funding to accelerate its expansion efforts.
