Glaukos Gets $35 Million New Venture Capital

Laguna Hills, California  -- Medical device company Glaukos Corporation has raised $35 million in its series D round of venture capital financing from a syndicate of investors.

Glaukos is developing treatments that "restore natural physiologic outflow as a foundation of significant, steady and sustained glaucoma management."

Investors in the round were Domain Associates, Frazier Healthcare Ventures, InterWest Partners, Montreux Equity Partners, Versant Ventures and OrbiMed. The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
