Ngmoco Nets Series A Venture Financing Round

Albuquerque, New Mexico  -- Digital media company ngmoco announced that it has secured $5.6 million in its first round of institutional venture capital funding.

ngmoco develops and publishes casual games designed for the Apple iPhone.

Investors in the round included Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers and maples investments. The company said it would use the funding to "create, acquire and publish games built specifically for the iPhone and made in collaboration with the best and brightest gamemakers in the world."
