Aethon Accepts Series E Venture Capital Funding

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania  --  Medical device company Aethon Inc. has landed $14.2 million in its fifth round of venture capital financing.

Aethon develops and sells courier robots for hospitals that help increase productivity and save hospitals time and money.

Investors in the round were not disclosed. The company's name comes from one of the four horses of ancient Greek mythology that pulls Helois' chariot - the sun - across the sky every day.
