3Leaf Networks Nets $35 Million Series C

Santa Clara, California --  Virtualization software company 3Leaf Networks announced that it has raised $35 million in its third round of institutional venture capital financing.

3Leaf has developed what it calls the "Virtual Compute Environment" that delivers virtualization technologies to enable mainframe capabilities on the low-cost commodity servers.

LSI Logic Corp.. led the round, which included Alloy Ventures, Enterprise Partners Venture Capital, Intel Capital and Storm Ventures. The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
