Envision Solar Launches Remote System

La Jolla, California --  Solar technology company Envision Solar announced the launch and commercial availability of a self-contained electricity generation and water treatment system.

Called LifeVillage, the system includes the company's solar powered electricity and water treatment structures that can provide between 1.5 and 4 kW of electricity and a water treatment unit that will capture and reuse water.

According to the company, the system can be assembled and activated within two weeks of its arrival at the remote site. Initial demonstration projects will be in the Côte d'Ivoire region of Africa.
