Digg Digs Into Third Venture Capital Funding

San Francisco, California  --  Internet company Digg announced that it has raised $28.7 million in its series C round of institutional venture capital financing.

Digg is a user driven social content website that allows users to submit and vote on content and its value.

Highland Capital Partners led the round, which included other undisclosed investors. The company did not disclose how it would use the funding proceeds.
