Seed Funds To Convene At Detroit Conference

Detroit, Michigan -- Over 300 seed and early-stage investors will meet in Detroit to network and learn about early-stage venture capital investing best practices.

The 2008 annual conference of the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds (NASVF) will meet September 10-12, hosted by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.

According to Patricia Brasted, NASVF Chairwoman, the conference will discuss the growing role of government in building early-stage companies, lessons learned by more mature regions, and portfolio management during difficult economic times.
