Called the IRLinc Transmitter - INSTEON to IR Converter, the plug-in interface allows remote control of home theater and other infrared equipment.

"We're excited to add Infrared and audio/video gear to the wide list of devices that INSTEON products can now control,” says Laurie Maroni, Vice President of Marketing at SmartLabs. “In a few minutes, any user can train the IRLinc Transmitter the codes from their remote control and have their home theater or whole-house audio system fully integrated into their INSTEON home automation system."
